About Course

Course Description

The HR Administration, People Operations & Workplace Documentation course is a practical career-readiness training programme designed to equip professionals, graduates, job seekers, and career changers with the knowledge and workplace skills required to function effectively within an HR team, particularly in a manufacturing environment.

The course provides a practical understanding of how Human Resources supports the smooth operation of manufacturing companies by managing people, employee records, workplace processes, compliance requirements, safety documentation, and employee-related activities.

Learners will be taken through the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and selection through onboarding, employee development, performance management, reward and retention, to offboarding and exit documentation. The course also introduces learners to essential HR documents, personnel file management, employment contracts, attendance and leave records, payroll administration, health and safety documentation, performance and discipline records, HR policies, and confidentiality of employee information.

Beyond HR administration, the programme focuses on career readiness. Learners will develop an understanding of the skills employers look for, how to build a manufacturing-ready CV, how to respond confidently to competency-based interview questions using the STAR method, and how to develop a practical 30-60-90 day plan for starting a new HR role.

The training also uses practical workplace scenarios, including an employee absenteeism case study, to help learners understand how HR professionals should approach workplace issues, document actions, follow company policies, and maintain accurate records.

By the end of the course, participants will have a clearer understanding of HR operations in a manufacturing organisation and will be better prepared to present themselves as organised, professional, detail-oriented, and employment-ready HR candidates.
